Marcus is founder and CEO of the africapractice Group, a pan-African strategy and communications consultancy with six offices in Africa and an office in London. He has twenty years’ experience supporting companies in Africa to do good business, and helping African nations to attract investment and pursue preferential trade relationships. Marcus has counselled several African heads of state and many of the largest private sectors investors in a diverse range of industries, including transportation, energy, natural resources, fast moving consumer goods and ICT.
Marcus is also a director of Alkebulan, a financial advisory firm dedicated to securing growth capital for African companies.
Educated at Eton College, Marcus received a BA Hons in European Studies from Manchester University. Prior to founding africapractice in 2003 Marcus was a director and head of international government affairs at the world’s largest strategic communications consultancy. He is married with three children.
