Following the success of its first three editions, the MEDays Forum is regarded today as a strategic global meeting gathering policy makers from geostrategic, political, and economic spheres in the South and more specifically the Maghreb region, Mediterranean, Africa and the Arab World completed in 2010 through an opening in Latin America and Asia
The Forum, in brief :
An annual international forum hosted by the city of Tangier
A southern forum, organized by the South and financed mostly by the South
A platform for dialogue, consultation, co-decision and co-management between all decision-makers from the North and the South
Meetings dedicated to the analysis of the economy and the creation of business opportunities
4 days of debates about topical geopolitical, economic, social, environmental and cultural issues directly related to key challenges in the South
A community of high-level speakers : Heads of State, government representatives, political leaders, businessmen, entrepreneurs and CEO’s, representatives from international and intergovernmental organizations, academic experts and representatives from civil society
An engagement, the annual Tangier Declaration, to ensure the follow up of recommendations emanating from debates and meetings
